Welcome visitors! What is Fantasy Fights you ask? We are a family oriented website competition that was
created back in October of 1999, and was the first web competition with a fantasy theme to it!
The Fantasy Fights was built around the idea for people to make new friends, gain new skills, get some extra traffic to
their sites and of course to have lots of fun! If this sounds like something you are interested in, why not join us? There is
a place for everybody, and you do not need a fantasy-themed website to join!
| Fantasy Fights: For Sale - Update |
Hi everybody,
I hope you had a great time during this last month finishing off the end of the year at Fantasy Fights! As promised, we are sending out an update about what is going on with the site.
As of December 11th, we still do not have a buyer for the site I'm sad to say. Ladie Mikala said she will pay for 1 more month of hosting though in hopes of finding a buyer, so the site should remain online until January 25th at least. Because of the situation, we will extend the winter break rather that coming back like we normally do. Since there is a chance of the site closing down still, we thought that yesterday was a good day to close down the voting with the end of the Tournaments. We will update everybody again close to January 25th or sooner if we hear anything.
If you are interested in purchasing and running Fantasy Fights, here is what you need to know:
* All main staff do plan to leave as far as we know so it will be a hard start unless you have some team leaders and such lined up already.
* Running the site is very time consuming and you should expect to spend a couple hours or more every week depending on the job your working on with the site
* The domain costs $10/year, and hosting is roughly $7/month at our current hosting service
* Ladie Mikala is asking for $800 to purchase and own Fantasy Fights and all of it's content

| Important information about Fantasy Fights |
Sadly, due to financial issues, we can no longer maintain Fantasy Fights and the hosting will be running out December 24th. We do not wish to see the site closed, so if you (or somebody you know) are interested in purchasing Fantasy Fights, please click the banner below for more information.
Tournament of Dreams will be running next month still, and Fantasy Fights will run normally until our winter break.
Members should be getting an email by Sunday night about this. Sorry about the bad news everybody, but we don't have any other option :(
